Mountain Capital

Stephen serves as Vice President of Accounting to Mountain Capital. He started his career in 2010 and has been working with a variety of investment fund accounting structures across multiple industries since 2012.

Prior to joining Mountain Capital, Stephen worked as a Controller for Bayou City Energy, an upstream-focused private equity firm where he led the accounting, treasury, and compliance functions for the firm's joint venture drilling partnerships. His responsibilities also extended to the execution of portfolio valuations and the accounting, treasury, and compliance requirements for multiple co-investment vehicles and fund structures.

Prior to that, Stephen was a Fund Accounting Manager for Oak Hill Advisors L.P., an alternate investment firm with performing and distressed credit, where he was responsible for the accounting, compliance, and reporting requirements for $2.5B in assets, Additionally, he managed the tax reporting requirements for all international holdings through the firm’s division in Luxembourg.

Stephen also served as a Senior Tax Accountant at Postlethwaite & Netterville in Baton Rouge, LA. He focused on tax preparation and consulting for a variety of individual, corporate, partnership, and non-profit organizations.

Stephen earned an M.S. in Accounting and B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Louisiana.
